A WAVE with purpose.
A LIFE worth living...
Wave didn't start with a beverage...
It began with a simple idea during a time when people couldn’t gather.
Like so many others, we watched neighbors, friends, and families “wave to one another” from a distance. Hospitality; literally the thing we’d spent our entire careers building…had suddenly become separation. The conversations, celebrations, and everyday moments that brought people together… were put on hold. We couldn’t shake the feeling that people needed more places to connect, not fewer.
That’s where the name WAVE was born.
Originally, WAVE was imagined as a neighborhood Grab & Go café and plant-based eatery (a place where people could slow down, feel welcomed, and leave a little better than when they arrived.)
We poured days and weeks into business plans, recipes, partnerships, and possibilities. But life had other plans…
The world reopened... and we returned to the day to day & our careers in hospitality.
And like so many dreams, WAVE was carefully tucked away for “someday.”
Except someday never really left us...
Every often, one of us would bring it back up. We’d sketch another idea, revisit another plan, and kind of ask the same question: “What if?”

Then one afternoon, sitting on our front steps listening to kids playing in the nearby park, something clicked.
Families were gathering, Friends were laughing, Athletes were competing.
Communities were coming back together, but there wasn’t a single place to grab a thoughtfully crafted beverage that felt essential to the moments people were creating around it.
That realization changed a lot...
Instead of trying to build everything at once, we decided to build one thing exceptionally well.
One handcrafted beverage. One friend at a time….
Together, we’ve spent nearly fifty years in hospitality. We’ve also learned that people rarely remember every detail of a meal or a drink; but they always remember how you make them feel.
Wave is our vehicle for sharing that feeling.
Today, WAVE travels wherever people gather... events to celebrations
Tomorrow, we hope those same people will walk through the doors of WAVE’s first permanent home.
Wave has never been just about about selling beverages. It’s about creating places where people will feel good, conversations happen naturally, and strangers become friends.
